KNOXVILLE — Science Hill’s baseball team is headed back to the TSSAA Class AAA tournament after a wild win over Hardin Valley on Friday.

Drew Honeycutt set Hardin Valley down in order in the home half of the eighth to end it.

The Hilltoppers jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but Hardin Valley scored four unanswered to tie it after three innings.

Conner Hyatt put Science Hill up 7-4 in the top of the fourth inning with his first varsity homer, but the Hawks tied the game again in the bottom of the sixth with four walks, a Lukas Cook double to deep left field and a balk by Honeycutt.
