Sharron Spackman Robinson will celebrate her 80th birthday at an Open House hosted by her family on Saturday, March 17, 2018. It will be held at her son's home at 3599 Inverness Drive, Syracuse, UT, from 1 to 4 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come and share memories with her.
Born March 19, 1938, to Roscoe and Thelma Spackman in Fairview, ID, she grew up in Preston and worked on the family farm milking cows, hauling hay and cutting beets. Her best friends were her horse, Bonnie, and her dog, Rusty. Sharron graduated from Preston High in 1956.
Sharron moved to the Ogden area in 1957, where she began raising her family of four children: Blake Murray, Meichelle Smith (deceased), Lori Burlison and Brett Foxley. They later moved to Layton. At present, she has nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Sharron was employed at IRS and Geneva Rock with a few years of driving truck for Robinson Excavating and Draper Trucking in between. She retired from Geneva on December 31, 2016.
