Sullivan summer feeding program starts June 4

BLOUNTVILLE — Sullivan County Schools Summer Feeding Program will serve free meals to people 18 and younger starting next month.

The annual event at five locations will run June 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 and 27 and July 9, 11, 16 and 18.

Locations and times are Blountville Elementary School, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Sullivan East High, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Sullivan Gardens K-8, 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.; Horse Creek Village, noon to 12:30 p.m.; and Ketron Elementary from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

The 2019 Seamless Summer Food Service Program is administered by the Tennessee Department of School Nutrition Services under an agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Meals will be provided to all children without charge.
