BRISTOL, Tenn. — A tip on possible drug activity has led police in Bristol to a kilo of methamphetamine, three arrests and the seizure of approximately $30,000.

According to a Wednesday press release from the Bristol Tennessee Police Department, the incident occurred Monday at about 10 a.m. Information led officers to the Fairfield Inn on West State Street, just off Exit 74-A of Interstate 81.

Officers made contact with the room’s occupants, who consented to a search. Approximately $30,000 believed to be involved in drug transactions was also seized.

All three occupants of the room were subsequently arrested.
