Man charged with attempted murder after 2 shot in Johnson City

A 45-year-old Elizabethton man was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder after shooting two people in Johnson City early Tuesday morning, police said.

Both victims were expected to survive.

Christopher Allen Blevins, 45, was arrested after the shootings at 115 Mulberry St., No. 27.

Police were called there about 2:30 a.m. and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One had had three to four gunshot wounds and several lacerations. A second victim had one gunshot wound in the abdomen and lacerations.
