Herbert Lee Pippin, 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at McKay Dee Hospital with his loving family surrounding him. Lee was born October 3, 1948, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Herbert Lee Pippin and Lois Bell.
He joined the U.S. Army October 5, 1965, and was released from active duty on October 4, 1968. He served in the Vietnam War. He was a double Purple Heart recipient.
He married Lois Walton on June 29, 2002, in Ogden, Utah. They have been happily married for 15 years.
Lee was a member of the Southern Baptist 1st Baptist Church of Roy.
He loved motorcycles, cars, guns, martial arts and spending time with his family.
Lee is survived by his wife, Lois. His daughter, Valerie (Kenny) McArthur; his step-children: Roberta Carney, Robb Carney, Robin (Stephen) Hough, and Rod (Tera) Carney; his brothers, John and David; his sister, Sunnie; and nine grandchildren.
His is preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah. With a viewing on Friday, October 13, 2017, 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to the service at 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Myers Roy Mortuary 5865 S. 1900 West, Roy, Utah.
