May 27, 1935 ~ November 30, 2017

On November 30, 2017, our Mom, Jeri Carver-Noble died after a nearly three-year battle with Alzheimers. In many respects, Mom was a fighter. She fought Alzheimers as hard as she could, even though it was a fight she could not win.

Mom was born to Don Carver and LaMar Hammon, on May 27, 1935, in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Weber High School, and went on to work a variety of jobs throughout the course of her life. Her personal favorites included a stint as a secretary at Hill Air Force Base, and at Hoover Dam in Nevada (her office was at the base of the dam, which she thought was pretty cool). Mom had an epic work ethic and this helped her overcome some of her life challenges. Mom retired in 2006 and moved to Pleasant View to be near family.

Along the way, Mom was married three times. Duane Criddle, Gary Crandall, and Phil Noble, all had the good fortune of spending some time with Mom over the course of their lives. All three men precede Mom in death.

Mom's biggest source of happiness and sense of accomplishment were her kids. Mom is survived by daughter, Chris, and sons, Mike and Sean. We love you Mom and we will miss you.

Mom also enjoyed being a grandmother a great deal. She worked hard at being a good Grandma. She had three grandkids and four great-grandkids. She was always thankful for the time she spent with them. Mom's house was a warm, loving, fun place to go.

Mom also had two brothers (Richard and Bob), and one sister (Joyce). Sadly, Mom's brother, Richard, passed away as an infant. Mom is survived by Bob and Joyce.

Mom loved Christmas, dogs (especially Schnauzers), sunsets, music, singing, flowers, her Honda, cleaning (its true!), laughing, pink flamingos and sparkles.

There is a place in our hearts that only your love can fill. We love you Mom and you will always be with us.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the Plain City Cemetery, 4373 W. 1975 North.

Arrangements entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
