BRISTOL, VA - Jack Quillen, age 80, of Bristol, VA passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his home.
He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, a son of the late John and Ollie McClure Quillen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Tom Quillen, Benny Quillen and Orbin Quillen; and sisters, Betty Fay Collins and Ann Fields.
Jack retired from Leonard Roofing.
He is survived by his wife Glenda; sons, Eric and wife Julie of Cookeville, TN and Elliott and wife Emmy of Chicago, IL; daughter, Robin Kindle and husband Joel of Piney Flats, TN; grandsons, Ryan and Logan Quillen of Cookeville, TN; sisters, Juanita Light of Kingsport, TN and Sue Stokes of Charlottesville, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
A Committal Service and Inurnment will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Mountain Home, TN. Military honors will be rendered by the DAV Chapter #40 Honor Guard and members of the TN Army National Guard.
