OGDEN — Ogden police were involved in a car chase Wednesday, Dec. 6, after a wanted suspect fled from officers.

At 5:15 p.m., an Ogden Police officer saw a suspect wanted for questioning about his possible involvement in an aggravated assault, OPD Capt. Danielle Croyle said in a news release.

The suspect and another person fled from police in a black Audi at the 1100 block of 22nd Street. They were later caught on the 400 block of 26th Street, but not before sideswiping a parked car near 24th Street and Washington Boulevard, Croyle said.

Nobody was injured in the crash.

The occupants of the car were located and taken into custody.

Utah Highway Patrol is assisting with the crash investigation.
