BOUNTIFUL — Police have released names and photos of the man killed and another on the lam following a botched robbery at a pawn shop in Bountiful.

Two suspects — Kleydys Arbolaez-Hernandez, 40, and Alexyanis Cutino Jimenez, 30 — entered Bountiful Pawn at 135 S. 500 West on Friday and brandished a handgun at the store clerk, according to a press release from the BPD

When the armed suspect was distracted, the store clerk ran to a storage area and grabbed a gun. The armed suspect, who police say was Arbolaez-Hernandez, ran after the clerk.

Police say the clerk shot the suspect, killing him. The press release did not say how many rounds were fired.

Jimenez ran away and was not found, police said in the release.

Police are still looking for Jimenez, who has an active armed robbery arrest warrant in Oklahoma.

Before arriving in Salt Lake City, the two were seen May 1 leaving the Denver area.

Jimenez was last seen leaving the Bountiful area on May 4, the same day of the botched robbery, driving a white 2005 Saturn Vue with the Colorado license plate BMT182.

Jimenez is described as a Hispanic man that is 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. He also has ties to Texas and Florida, police say.

Police say that Jimenez should be considered to be armed and dangerous, and he should not be approached.

If you see Jimenez, call 911 immediately and report it to police.
