GIRLS SOCCER: Viewmont, Northridge end tourney with wins

OREM — Sailor Uffens continued her torrid pace to start the 2017 girls soccer season with her fifth goal, and Viewmont concluded its appearance in a two-day tournament with a 2-0 win over Orem on Friday.

Viewmont won two and earned a draw in the tournament.

Syd Anderson also scored for the Vikings.

NORTHRIDGE 4, DESERT HILLS 2

OREM — Northridge picked up a win in its final game as part of a two-day tournament.

The Knights won twice and lost once in the tournament.

Tiani Fonoti scored twice and picked up an assist, while Angela Steenblick and Lauren Call also scored.

Kambree Christensen, Maya Lewis and Hallestyn Kap also tallied assists.

Northridge scored twice in each half.

STANSBURY 3, ROY 2

STANSBURY PARK — Stansbury scored during stoppage time in the second half to outlast Roy.

Stansbury needed the goal after Weber State commit Taylor Scadlock equalized with eight minutes left, her fourth goal of the season.

Dylan Dingman also scored for the Royals.
