The Lady Cougars (26-2, 12-0) rode baskets by Peyton Sams, Macy McClellan and Abbey Crawford in the final quarter to overcome a 30-29 deficit.
Crawford finished with a team-high 11 points and Sams and McClellan totaled nine each for the district champions.
Unicoi County (13-13, 3-8) built a 23-18 halftime lead behind the shooting of Ashtan Vance, who scored 15 of her game-best 16 points over the first two quarters.

UNICOI BOYS HOLD ON
Unicoi County fought off Central 64-57 in the boys’ contest.
The Blue Devils (15-12, 6-5) led 50-35 going into the fourth quarter, but the Cougars (9-20, 4-8) rallied and sent the game to overtime tied at 57 thanks to a Joltin Harrison 3- pointer before the buzzer.
Harrison hit a half-dozen 3-pointers and totaled 18 points, including five makes in the second half.
But the extra period belonged to Unicoi, which saw Bryson Peterson score five of his team-best 18 points. The sophomore went 12-for-14 from the free-throw line.
Lucas Slagle added 14 points and Nicholas Hensley had a dozen.
Central got 10 points from Preston Sams with nine from Ty Barb.
The Unicoi and Central boys will meet in the 4 seed vs. 5 seed matchup next Friday in the District 1-AA tournament. The Blue Devils won both regular-season meetings with the Cougars.
Unicoi visits Elizabethton on Wednesday to close out its conference slate. Central will step out of conference for its visit with Dobyns-Bennett that night.
