This weekend in downtown Kingsport: Beer, bingo, yoga and gnomes

KINGSPORT — If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, head downtown for games, good food, yoga and more. Here are some suggestions for your weekend from the Downtown Kingsport Association.


Model City Tap House Music Bingo

Where: Model City Tap House, 151 E. Main St., Suite 1

What: Music Bingo

Try out the latest craze in cities throughout the country. Music Bingo is played just like traditional Bingo, except with song clips played in place of letters and numbers. Prizes will be awarded to winners.

When: The activities begin at 7 p.m.

High Voltage Beer and Bunko

Where: High Voltage, 101 Cherokee St., Suite 30

What: Beer and Bunko is back at High Voltage.

When: The activities begin at 7 p.m.


VIDA Hot Yoga, Yoga for a Cause

Where: 125 W. Center St., Suite 102

What: VIDA Hot Yoga: Yoga for a Cause. All donations to benefit Petworks.

When: The activities begin at 5:45 p.m. Sign up through the MINDBODY app or through VIDA’s app.

High Voltage Bite and Bingo

Where: 101 Cherokee St., Suite 30.

What: The BITE food truck will be serving up gourmet phillys.

When: Bingo begins at 7 p.m.


Hometown Cottage 1771: Gnome Crafting

Where: 316 Broad St., Suite 102

What: Learn how to make your own Valentine’s gnome at this class taught by Michelle from Nash Creations. Registration is not required, but space is limited.

When: The activities begin at 2 p.m.

Cost: $25 in advance or at the door.

Kingsport Public Library Movie

Where: 400 Broad St.

What: Drop by the library every fourth Saturday for popcorn and a movie. The event is free and open to the public. To find out what movie is being shown this week, go to https://www.kingsportlibrary.org or call (423) 224-2539.

When: The movie begins at 2 p.m.

The Dressy Owl Boutique: Consignment sale

Where: 245 E. Market St.

What: Overhaul your closet with help from the Dressy Owl as it hosts its first consignment sale.

When: Saturday at 11 a.m. and Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.
