COVID-19: Saturday's numbers

The Tennessee Department of Health reported Saturday that 90,586 tests have been administered since the COVID-19 pandemic started. To date, Tennessee has 6,762 confirmed cases with 3,234 recoveries and 145 deaths.
In Northeast Tennessee, that report (available online for all counties) includes: five cases, three recoveries and one death in Carter County; 30 cases, 22 recoveries and two deaths in Greene County; 27 cases, 23 recoveries and two deaths in Hawkins County; two cases and two recoveries in Johnson County; 45 cases, 35 recoveries and one death in Sullivan County; one case and one recovery in Unicoi County; and 46 cases and 37 recoveries in Washington County. There have been no cases reported in Hancock County.
The number of cases in Hawkins, Sullivan and Washington counties remained unchanged from Friday’s report.
The Virginia Department of Health tracking website reported 51,931 tests have been administered in the commonwealth with 8,053 confirmed cases, 1,296 hospitalizations and 258 deaths.
