B. Aldus Johnson

B. Aldus Johnson was born in Provo, Utah, to Charles L. and Ethel Irene Johnson. He married Ann Wheelwright on August 26, 1947, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Aldus graduated from Weber High School and USU with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, stationed in Italy during World War II, as a Sergeant.

Aldus was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints. He was a Stake Patriarch.

Aldus loved his family, gardening, church service and doing genealogy.

Aldus is survived by his wife, Ann, of 70 years; his four sons: Alan (Dorean) Johnson, Blaine (Shelly) Johnson, Lyle Johnson, and Jay (Jill) Johnson; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Venice (Dick) Freestone. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ferris.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Roy 13th Ward, 5127 S. 2400 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing will be held at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 West, Roy, Friday, August 11, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to the services at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Interment in the Washington Heights Memorial Park.
