February 6, 1933 ~ January 6, 2018

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, returned home to her loving Heavenly Father and family, on Saturday January 6, 2018.

Janice Jabbs Hardy was born February 6, 1933, in Logan, Utah, to Henry Jabbs and Edna Combs.

Soon after moving to Ogden, she began working at Mountain States Implement as a secretary where she met the man of her dreams, Don Hardy. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 10, 1956. They were blessed with four children: daughter, Carolyn (Loren) Facer; son, Rodney (Mary Ann); daughter, Beth (Kenneth) Kapp; and daughter, Sandi (Mike) Espinosa; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Janice served in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during her life. She embraced her cooking skills, working for the Davis County Schools as a cook and a manager in the school lunch program. She was well known for her cinnamon rolls, hamburger buns, and her ability to breakdown a recipe and make it her own. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, taking them camping, and sharing her love of crafts with them. She loved sewing, needlepoint, quilting, ceramics, and playing her organ for family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Hardy.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West in Roy, Utah, from 10 to 11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. at the Logan City Cemetery followed by the interment.
