South Cache Middle School teacher charged with enticing a minor

HYRUM — A Cache County teacher has been accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student, the Cache County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday, April 11. 

Duane Behrmann, a teacher at South Cache Middle School, has been booked into the Cache County Jail on 13 counts of enticing a minor, a second-degree felony, according to a press release from Lt. Brian Locke. 

Behrmann was a history teacher, according to the school’s website. 

The sheriff’s department said they do not suspect there are additional victims, but the investigation is ongoing.
