UPDATE: Due to Saturday’s weather forecast, Preaching Christ Church and Food City have canceled their sixth annual ‘Hop to It!” Easter egg hunt at Andrew Johnson Elementary School. To make up for the cancellation, the church is inviting the community to attend “RISE TOGETHER” on April 28 at the Kingsport Farmers Market. From 10:30-11 a.m., the church will issue wristbands for free unlimited carousel rides, followed by live music, free inflatables and free Starbucks coffee, with the carousel opening at 1 p.m. For more information, contact Preaching Christ Church by phone at (423) 967-5997, email [email protected] or visit www.preachingchristchurch.com.
