KINGSPORT – Despite the rainy weather and chilly temperatures, the Kingsport Farmers Market was bustling with activity on Saturday morning during the market’s first annual Fall Festival, held from 8 a.m. to noon. Market staples such as fresh fruit, vegetables and sweet treats were on hand, as well as seasonal items like pumpkins and fall decorations. At one booth, festivalgoers could sculpt their own pumpkins, while children could enter a pumpkin-painting contest. Face painting, live music and other activities were also offered throughout the morning.
