The Sullivan County Board of Education approved the budget 7-0 Thurdsay. On Wednesday, May 13, it is to be presented to the commission’s budget Committee.

A separate ceremony at Bristol Motor Speedway also is to be scheduled in May or early June. Of 625 seniors in four county high schools, 387 participated in the survey.
Under Tennessee state law, the deadline to get a sales tax referendum on the August ballot is May 23.
